The Apache Cocoon community proudly invites you to experience the Cocoon GetTogether, the sixth annual gathering of the worlds foremost Cocoon users, developers, and enthusiasts.

S. Setting the Stage


Get ready to experience all things Cocoon in true expression of community sprit. Over the course of three days, Cocoon GetTogether participants welcome you to meet new friends, improve your skills, and get the inside track from fellow Cocoon champions.

The sole event exclusively dedicated to Apache Cocoon, the GetTogether is where attendees share ideas and inspiration, suggestions from design to deployment, discuss Cocoon internals, and team up to address various Cocoon-based issues. The friendly, relaxed environment is fully hands-on, giving participants at all levels a chance to hear and be heard.

This years GetTogether promises to be a great event; highlights include the all-collaborative hackathon, compelling talks and presentations, as well as the chance to enjoy various social activities against the backdrop of the beautiful city of Rome.

In keeping with our long-standing participation with other Open Source communities, the hackathon is open to any individual or group interested in Open Source. Well happily make room for new friends!

Share your knowledge. Interest at the Cocoon GetTogether is broad-reaching and comprehensive: real-life insight, best practices, release preparation, bug fixes and hacks, community development, and related issues pertaining to Apache Cocoon or affiliated projects under the auspices of the Apache Software Foundation are encouraged. Developer, implementer, and end-user perspectives are all welcome.
